Search engines already answer simple metric/imperial conversions with a built-in widget, so a generic converter site can no longer compete on those queries. OhMyUnit skips them entirely and focuses on the conversions Google does not answer well: cup-to-gram by ingredient, ND filter stops, ring sizes across regions, gestational age in weeks and days, paint litres needed for a wall, and so on.

Every conversion is computed locally with plain JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded. There is no account, no usage limit, and no logging of the values you type.
Cooking weights are based on USDA / King Arthur baking references. Clothing and shoe charts cross-reference major retailer size guides. Ring sizes follow the ISO 8653 mm inner-diameter standard. Photography stops follow the standard √2 series.
