Measure your foot
Stand on a piece of paper with your weight on the foot you are measuring. Mark the tip of your longest toe and the back of your heel. The distance between the marks is your foot length in centimetres. Add 0.5–1 cm of wiggle room for closed-toe shoes.
Notes by region
- US uses different scales for men and women — a US women's 8 is a US men's 6.5.
- UK sizes run about 1 number smaller than US for the same foot.
- EU uses Paris point — a single scale for both genders.
- Japan uses foot length in centimetres directly.
FAQ
Width? The chart only shows length. For wide feet, look for a "D" (men) or "W" (women) width designation; "EE" or "EEEE" are extra wide.
Half sizes? Most US/UK brands stock half sizes; EU and JP typically only have whole sizes.
